Pin Point Lighting
Pin Point Lighting was founded in 1999 by John Duncan, Jr. A longtime stagehand and member of Philadelphia’s IATSE Local 8, Duncan molded the company to his vision of providing the highest quality lighting equipment rental and production services in the Philadelphia region. Modest beginnings saw nightclubs, bar, and smaller concert venues as the focus for the company, but growth came quickly. Persistence and dedication led to recognition for both Duncan and the company, and larger clients began to take notice. PPL would soon make a seamless transition into the world of theater and larger concert venues.
Now with over a decade of growth, Pin Point Lighting has evolved into one of the largest theatrical and concert lighting suppliers in the region. With clients such as Opera Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Pennsylvania Ballet, the company serves as a technical backbone to the arts scene in Philadelphia. More growth is on the horizon for the company, as it branches into the national level of the concert world. PPL has provided lighting and design for several notable performers, including Styx, 98 Degrees, New Kids on the Block, Jay Z’s monumental Made In America Festival, and even the President of the United States. PPL could even be found on tour, providing a full package of lighting and technicians for Philadelphia favorites Hall & Oates, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Pin Point Lighting continues to grow as a company, with no event too large and no client too small for the organization to take time to handle. Please contact PPL for any of your lighting rental, production, or design needs.
